About Us

My name’s Simon — and before I founded COG Productions, I spent time teaching kindergarten and babysitting my dear childhood friend Mandi’s little boy, Alex. He was bright, energetic, and endlessly curious. To help him remember the things he’d learned that day, we’d pretend he was calling his cousin Kate on his iPad.

Years later, that same little boy inspired the main character in My Cousin Kate.

These books aren’t just stories. They’re designed for children during their most important developmental window — ages 4 to 8 — when empathy, vocabulary, and cultural awareness take root.

Each book uses our 3-part formula:

1. A gentle story about friendship
2. Five real cultural objects with bold visuals and new vocabulary
3. A recap moment to help kids remember and share what they’ve learned

Bonus: Children can discover new countries — one beautiful story at a time — all from the comfort of home.

Our goal is simple: make learning joyful, meaningful, and memorable.

And from here, our vision grows — to partner with Netflix and bring these stories to life in a global animated series that walks proudly in the paw-prints of Paw Patrol.

This is the creative ethos behind all of COG Productions — what we call the 4 E’s of Edutainment:
Educating, Empowering, Entertaining, and Enriching young minds with meaningful, values-driven content.

My Cousin Kate is created by COG Productions, the same team behind The Karma Kids — a growing movement that promotes kindness, responsibility, and conscious action.

We proudly donate 10% of all profits to animals, children, and the environment. And soon, we’ll launch The ACE Foundation to expand that impact globally.

This isn’t just a book series.

It’s a mission — to raise thoughtful little humans in a big, beautiful world…

And to stand as a beacon of conscious capitalism

through the work of The ACE Foundation.
